about

If you're wondering what the hell is this...It's a new Spot 1019 release of super rare and mostly unheard songs recently unearthed and resurrected here!

Tracks 1 – 9 previously saw the light of day in a somewhat different version on the Spot 1019 cassette-only release Nickel Bag of Donuts/A Clown of Thorns. But the songs here have been tweezed, remixed and repurposed into something totally unique.

The avid Spot 1019 collector knows the songs comprising Tracks 10, 12, 14, 17, and 18 first appeared on the 2002 CD release In Her Satanic Majesty's Secret Service Entrance. Yes, these songs were on Satanic, but what isn't known is the ones presented here are entirely different unreleased versions of songs which were later recorded and included on Satanic.

And although the intrepid Spot 1019 collector may note that Spot's version of The Reaper (Track 15) previously appeared on the 2012 CD compilation Tales from the Dogpile Kevin Daly Gets Covered, The Reaper here has been remixed/remodeled.

The remaining tracks are either songs or versions never before released, many of them completely forgotten until recently discovered in the Spot 1019 tape vaults.

Also, included from the final Spot 1019 recording session, the never-before-heard (Ladies Love the) Cowbell.
